National High School Top 25- 1/5/12

by Alex Schwartz

All of the holiday tournaments are in the books, and that means some major changes to the national rankings. There are some vast changes since the last poll was released, including a new team sitting atop the list.

Oak Hill Academy (VA) continues to successfully navigate through a difficult schedule with an unblemished resume as is now the consensus No. 1 ranked team in the United States. The Warriors have knocked off a handful of superb teams and are a worthy top-ranked squad at this point. However, there is still a great deal of basketball to be played and much can change over the next few months.

The top four teams on the list are all undefeated and many teams are still in the hunt for the mythical national championship. Without further ado, have a look at how things are stacking up in the race for the crown less than a week into the new year.
