by Alex Schwartz
Recruit Recon was on hand at Widener University on Friday for the fourth and final day of the 2011 Jameer Nelson Philly.com Holiday Classic. While there, we had the opportunity to speak with a couple class of 2013 standouts.
Jeremiah Worthem, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound small forward out of Math, Civics & Sciences (PA) helped lead his team to an upset win over Patterson (MD). MCS blew out the Clippers, leading by about 25 for most of the game and winning by a final score of 81-63.
Worthem has a handful of schools on his trail at this point, listing offers from Temple, La Salle, Drexel, and St. Joseph’s. In addition, he said he is hearing from Marist, Rice, Delaware, Boston University, and Harvard.
