Catching Up With Rondae Jefferson

The last time the Chester (PA) Clippers played in the Jameer Nelson Philly.com Holiday Classic they suffered their only loss of the 2010-11 season, falling to Sanford (DE).

Wednesday, nearly one year later, Chester took on Imhotep Charter (PA) in the 2011 Nelson Classic at the same site of the loss to Sanford, Widener University. The result was much more favorable this time, as Chester pulled away late for 56-36 victory.

After the contest, VUSports.com spoke with Chester's star player, junior Rondae Jefferson, to discuss this season, his game and his recruitment.

A talented, athletic 6-foot-6 small forward, Jefferson is being pursued by numerous high-major programs. However, he does not really know which ones.

Jefferson said that his mother and his brother, Rahlir, a junior forward at Temple, are handling his recruitment right now.
