November Conference Recruiting Breakdown: 1. ACC

by Alex Schwartz

For the 2011 class, the ACC finished third in the conference recruiting rankings. As for the 2012 class, the ACC currently sits No. 1
among the nation's conferences.

Two-thirds of the teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference are ranked in the Team Recruiting Rankings, and three quarters of the teams are at least an Honorable Mention on that list. It is a pair of schools from the Tar Heel State who lead the way for the ACC, but it might not be the two that one would expect.

The ACC is tied for the most top 25 commits and leads the way in top 50, top 100 and 150 commits from the Northstar Basketball Post-July 2012 Top 150. With many months left for seniors to make their college decisions, the ACC has a chance to increase its totals in each category.

Below is a look at how things are looking as of now in the ACC with the early signing period in the books.
