2013 Guard Jairus Lyles

In the class of 2012, Villanova was able to stay local for the majority of its recruiting. In 2013, Jay Wright and Co. are branching out a bit more and one of the main area of focus seems to be the DMV.
The DC/Maryland/Virginia area is a talent rich area year in and year out and 2013 is no different. One of the top players the DMV's crop of rising juniors is Jairus Lyles, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound combo guard of DeMatha (MD). While in Orlando with the U16 Caron Butler Team Takeover squad, Lyles spoke with VUSports.com about his recruitment, Villanova and more.
Lyles said his only offer right now is from Oklahoma State, but he is also hearing from Wake Forest, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Villanova, Miami, and more.
