Top 2013 Prospects Randle & Noel Talk Recruiting, Kansas

In order for elite programs to remain such, they must recruit and sign the nation’s elite players. The University of Kansas is one of the most prestigious basketball schools in country and thus it makes sense that the Jayhawks are in the running for arguably the top three players in the class of 2013.

In addition to Jabari Parker, who has KU in his top five, Bill Self and Co. are also coming after Julius Randle and Nerlens Noel. Randle, a 6-foot-8, 243-pound power forward, and Noel, a 6-foot-11, 215-pound center, both spoke with The Shiver while at the LeBron James Skills Academy.
Randle, who attends Prestonwood Christian (TX), listed North Carolina, Duke, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, Baylor, Arkansas, Florida, and Memphis. The big man said he is hearing from “everywhere” and noted that “pretty much” every school he named has offered him a scholarship.
