Class of 2013: Britt & Freeman

by Alex Schwartz

The general consensus among those at last week's Nike Elite 100 Camp seemed to be that the top performer was class of 2013 prospect Allerik Freeman. As for the recently concluded NBPA Top 100 Camp, the rising junior who played the best was Nate Britt.

VUSports.com had the chance to speak with both Britt and Freeman during NBPA Camp to discuss their recruitment. Both players mentioned over a dozen colleges, with five schools on both of their lists. One of those schools is Villanova University.

Nate Britt, a 6-foot-1 point guard out of Gonzaga (DC), already claims six high-major scholarship offers. Britt listed offers from Villanova, Georgetown, Virginia, Pitt, Arizona, and UCLA.

The other schools that Britt mentioned who are showing interest were Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Marquette, Florida, Seton Hall, Duke, Miami, and Maryland. He mentioned that Florida "just recently" came into the picture.
