Miami Will Host Johnny O'Bryant
by Alex Schwartz
The Miami Hurricanes are in the running for landing one of the nation’s elite players in the class of 2011.
Johnny O’Bryant, a 6-foot-9, 255-power forward from East Side (MS) has Miami amongst the final seven schools on his list.
“I've just been a big Miami Hurricane fan, of the football and basketball team, and it’s a great place and I just wanna get out and see what they have to offer,” said O'Bryant, who averaged 21 points a game as a junior.
The Canes are joined by LSU, Maryland, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, and Alabama.
"I wanna come in and be an impact player right off, and I want to have good relationship with coaching staff. I want it to be like my second half, my home away from home," O'Bryant said.
