Ryan Boatright of Aurora East (IL) has been a hot name amongst Providence fans of late. The 5'10, 160-pound class of 2011 point guard recently set up an official visit to the Big East school and ScoutFriars.com caught up with him to discuss that and his recruitment as a whole.

West Virginia, UConn, Kansas State, Miami, UTEP, Wake Forest, Providence, DePaul, and Minnesota were the schools Boatright listed. He claims offers from all of them and noted that others are involved as well.

“Not really, I’m pretty much still wide open, I [have yet to] take my visits or nothing,” said Boatright of whether he has any favorites.
