Summer Shootout School Lists

by Alex Schwartz

I went to Allentown (NJ) High School for a few hours today to catch some of the action in the Summer Prime Time Shootout. I took in three games and also had a chance to talk with four players. The lists I collected are below.

Jarrod Davis '11, Lakewood (NJ): Cincinnati, Oregon, Miami, St. Bonaventure, Temple, Tennessee, Rutgers, West Virginia, and Louisville
                            Offers: Unsure
                            Favorites: None
Notes- Davis, who is no longer considering Seton Hall, is planning to trim his list down in the near future. "Hopefully I'll have my list cut to five by the end of this week or next week," he said. As for when Davis plans to make his decision, he said, "[I will] cut my list to five, take five officials, [and then] decide in November."

Jarelle Reischel '11, Pt. Pleasant Beach (NJ): Seton Hall, Penn State, Temple, Georgetown, and Rice are "pretty much" his final five
                                 Offers: All except Georgetown
                                 Favorites: None
Note- Reischel, who noted that location will not be a factor in his decision, said of when he will commit, "I'm gonna take [each of my] five official visits and that I'm gonna decide probably."

Brandon Taylor '12, Trenton Catholic (NJ): West Virginia, Georgetown, Pitt, George Mason, LSU, Stanford, Temple, Colorado State, and more
                                 Offers: George Mason
Favorites: West Virginia, Georgetown, and Pitt

Jason Boswell '13, St. Patrick's (NJ): Seton Hall, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Syracuse, Georgetown, Pitt, Houston, and more
Offers: Seton Hall, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Pitt, and Houston
                               Favorites: None
