Okoro is One of NYC's Best in 2012

Nkereuwem Okoro '12 has been on the scene ever since middle school, and the 6'4, 215-pound shooting guard remains a big-time player.

While at the NYC Summer Classic with the Long Island Lightning on Saturday, the St. Raymond's (NY) star updated NYChoops.net on where things stand in his recruitment and more.

Okoro holds offers from Rutgers, St. John's, and Iowa State at this point. Other schools that have shown interest are Pitt, Villanova, Marquette, Seton Hall, Providence, Kentucky, Arizona, USC, and Washington. Okoro does "not at all" have any favorites.

The Big Apple standout said that Rutgers, Pitt, and Villanova are recruiting him the hardest at this point. The only visit that he has taken thus far has been to Rutgers.
