J-Mychal Reese is not the only 2012 star guard on Houston Hoops. LJ Rose of Second Baptist (TX) is a big-time high-major target in his own right and he too spoke with VUSports.com about his recruitment and interest level in the Wildcats.

Rose, a 6'1 point guard, already has more than 15 scholarship offers—including all but one school in the Big XII—despite being merely a rising junior. Other top-notch schools are showing major interest in him.

Baylor, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Florida, Kentucky, Virginia, Arizona, Harvard, New Mexico, Houston, and Villanova have all offered.

The consummate floor general is also receiving interest from Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, UConn, and Georgetown.
