As the AAU Super Showcase rolled on and AAU Nationals got underway, Recruit Recon continued to catch up with players in attendance. Some of the players are well-known while others are flying under the radar. All of them, though, are talented basketball players.

Kingsway Regional (NJ) graduate Elijah Bonsignore '11, who is headed St. Thomas More (CT) for a post-grad year, is being recruited by Robert Morris, Mount St. Mary’s, Quinnipiac, and Central Connecticut State. He had offers from the old staff at Robert Morris and Mount St. Mary’s and Quinnipiac had previously extended an offer. Bonsignore, who was playing with the East Coast Elite DE Panthers, has Robert Morris as his leader, but he wants to go to Rutgers. “That’s where I [am going to] work my hardest to get,” Bonsignore said of Rutgers.
