Reese Still a Star

In 2006, ESPN's Outside the Lines did a feature on the player considered the top rising seventh grader in the nation, J-Mychal Reese. While many players succumb to early hype, Reese has remained a top-notch prospect in the class of 2012 and is entering his junior year of high school at Bryan (TX). A 6'2 point guard who can slide over to the two, Reese discussed his recruitment with VUSports.com while in Orlando with his AAU team, Houston Hoops.

Reese currently holds offers from Texas, Baylor, Kansas, Memphis, and Texas A&M. He is receiving interest from Wake Forest, Villanova, Marquette, and North Carolina.
Reese has no favorites at this stage of the game, but did have a school he liked while growing up. "I liked Carolina because of Jordan," Reese said.
