Calhoun Reeling in Offers

Although his team, the New York Gauchos, struggled en route to a 0-5 record at the Nike Peach Jam/EYBL Finals, Omar Calhoun was one of the elite performers at the tournament in South Carolina.

Calhoun, a 6'3 shooting guard from Christ the King (NY), averaged 19.3 points per game despite being the only class of 2012 player on the team. During the event, Calhoun took some time to discuss where things stand in his recruitment.

Calhoun lists offers from Villanova, Pitt, Louisville, Florida, Miami, Arizona, Rutgers, and Seton Hall. In addition, he said he is being pursued by North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, Georgetown, and others.
