Future Syracuse Backcourt Building Early Bond

The Syracuse Orange have two players committed in the class of 2011, Trevor Cooney and Michael Carter-Williams. The future teammates were on the same squad at the King City Classic and are becoming close friends.
Trevor Cooney is a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Sanford School (DE) and Michael Carter Williams is a 6’5 combo guard from St. Andrew’s (RI). Cooney is ranked 72nd in the NBE Class of 2011 Pre-Live Period Top 100, while Carter-Williams checks in at 48.

“It was fun, I knew Mike as player, but I didn’t know him as a teammate,” Cooney said of what it was like to play with Carter-Williams at camp.
