Johnson Picks Up St. John's Offer

by Alex Schwartz

Rising senior Durand Johnson is one of the top wings in the Mid-Atlantic and St. John's has extended an offer to the 6-foot-6 shooting guard/small forward from Baltimore. Johnson also claims offer from numerous other high-major programs and updated RedStormReport.com on where things stand with his recruitment.

Marquette, UConn, Seton Hall, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Georgetown, Rutgers, Pitt, UNLV, Providence, Clemson, DePaul, South Florida, and St. John's were the schools Johnson listed. He claims offers from all of them except UConn and notes that there are "way more" schools also involved.

"No, I don't have any favorites. I'm just keeping all my options open and none are really standing out to me," Johnson said. He has no timetable for a commitment.
