Brown Shows Well at NBPA
by Alex Schwartz
In half of his six games at the University of Virginia for the NBPA Top 100 Camp, Jabari Brown '11 of Oakland High scored 12 plus points. One of the best scorers and long range shooters in the crop of rising seniors, Brown had a single game high of 19 and averaged 10.8 points per game, which put him just outside the top 15 overall.
There is another top 15 list that Brown is a part of though: the Rivals 150 for the class of 2011. The 6-foot-5, 203-pound shooting guard checks in at No. 12 in the nation on the list. With that lofty ranking comes major college interest.
Brown lists offers from Washington, Arizona State, Cal, Wake Forest, Maryland, Georgia Tech, and New Mexico. He is also being courted by Kansas, Stanford, Georgetown, and Miami.
