Johnson Likes Nova; Arcidiacono Adds Offers

by Alex Schwartz

The NBPA Top 100 Camp kicked off Wednesday at John Paul Jones Arena on the campus of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. With many of the top players in the nation in the class of 2011 on hand as well as some of the elite 2012 and 2013 players, there was a lot of talent in the building.

Games did not begin until Thursday, but the players had a one hour practice session Wednesday and were also available to the media. VUSports.com caught up with Tyrone Johnson '11 of Plainfield (NJ) and Ryan Arcidiacono '12 of Neshaminy (PA).

Tyrone Johnson, a 6'3 combo guard, said that he is being recruited by Big East and ACC schools. Johnson claimed offers from Villanova, Georgetown, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John's, West Virginia, UConn, Miami, Georgia Tech, Indiana, and Clemson.

The Garden State star listed no favorites at this point. He is not sure when he will be making his college choice. As far as his high school for next year, Johnson did not want to discuss that situation.
