Walker and Jefferson Shine at Rasual Butler All-City Classic
Year in and year out, Philadelphia produces some of the best basketball talent in the United States. Many of the current stars in the City of Brotherly Love and the surrounding area were on display last night in the Rasual Butler All-City Classic at the Community College of Philadelphia. Two of standouts were Daiquan Walker '12 of Roman Catholic (PA) and Rondae Jefferson '13 of Chester (PA).
Daiquan Walker, a 6'2, 175-pound point guard, showed off great ability in the Sophomore Game at the event. Walker displayed an outstanding handle, including a quick, impressive crossover. He was able to get to the cup a number of times, while also putting up some shots from beyond the arc. Walker did struggle with finishing, but he was able to produce points anyway via dishing out the rock to teammates for buckets. The talented 2012 guard was one of the more impressive players on the floor in the game.
