NY Recruiting Tidbits from Bob Gibbons TOC Day 2

After speaking with four players from New York squads at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions on Friday, NYChoops.net caught up with five more on Saturday.
Three of the players were with the Long Island Lightning U17 team, one was with the LIL U16 squad, and the other was running with the Rich Soil U17 bunch.
Lincoln (NY) standout Kamari Murphy '11 is garnering looks from St. John's, Iowa, Iowa State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Siena, Auburn, and Providence. The 6'8 Murphy lists offers from St. John's, Iowa State, and Providence. He said that Iowa State, Iowa, and Virginia are the schools that have most recently started to recruit him.
Asked if he has any favorites, Murphy responded, "Right now, I just started talking to Iowa State, but it looks like a good place, and Providence [is a favorite too]." Murphy is one of the most highly touted members of the U17 Long Island Lighting group.
