- Four members of Northstar Basketball's New Jersey Class of 2010 Fab 50 have recently decided on their plans for next year. The #13 ranked player, 6'7 Jamir Hanner of NIA Prep, will be returning to NIA Prep for a post-grad year, according to ZagsBlog.com. It is unclear whether or not the Philadelphia native is still committed to Seton Hall. The #16 ranked player, 6'4 small forward Ishaq Pitt of St. John Vianney, will be taking a post-grad year, with NIA Prep looking like the destination as of now. The #25 ranked player, 6'5 power forward Markese Tucker of Trenton Catholic, will be going to St. Peter's as a non-qualifier, and #50 Phil Henry, a 6'7 power forward from Cherokee, is headed to Highland JC, according to NJHoops.

- With those players off the board, only five players in the Fab 50 remain: #21 6'2 SG Xavier Munford of St. Benedict's, #34 Tim Crawford 6'6 PF Tim Crawford of Camden Catholic, #37 5'8 PG Willis Nicholson of Cherokee, #46 6'6 SF John Caprio of Seton Hall Prep, and #49 5'10 PG Daquere Hayes of Paterson Kennedy. It looks as though at least two of those players, Munford and Nicholson, will head to prep school, but it does not seem to be set in stone just yet.

- Another member of the class of 2010 who is still looking for a school is 6'5 forward Hakeem Jones of Impact Basketball Academy (FL). A class of 2009 graduate of Glasgow (DE), Jones swent to prep school and said,  "I used this year to not only get bigger, stronger, and generally more athletic, but also to develop my perimeter game." Jones is drawing some low-major Division I interest and is "looking for schools with solid engineering programs". As far as academics go, Jones is more than qualified. "I'm a good student. I graduated with a 3.7 GPA and with an 1130 math and verbal SAT score," he said. Jones had a solid showing at 2009 Hoop Group Elite Camp Session One and this year was "named to an all-county all-star game in addition to the 1st Team All-Tournament at the Impact National Shootout".

- While there are not many high-major caliber players left in the class of 2010, there are certainly a handful that are still on the board, including high school seniors, post-grads, and JuCo players.
