Daniels Has the Canes in Top Five
by Alex Schwartz
Word of God Academy (NC) shooting guard Bishop Daniels is one of many highly recruited players from North Carolina in the class of 2011.
The 6'3 shooting guard is currently at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions in the Tar Heel State with his high-powered AAU squad, the CP3 All-Stars. While at the University of North Carolina for his team’s first game—a blowout win—he took the time to provide a recruiting update.
Daniels listed South Carolina, Georgetown, Wake Forest, Miami, and Charlotte as his top five, with the Gamecocks and Hoyas leading the way.
He claims offers from all five of those programs and mentioned Virginia Tech, East Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Baylor as other schools involved in his recruitment.
An athletic specimen who is known for his dunking prowess, Daniels plans to make his college choice by the end of the summer.
