Myles Davis to Visit Villanova

by Alex Schwartz

Miles Davis is one of the best musicians of all time, and there is no question about that. St. Peter's Prep (NJ) 6'2, 180-pound shooting guard Myles Davis '11 is one of the best long range shooters in America at the high school level. About that, there is no question as well.

Villanova, UConn, Pitt, Virginia, George Mason, and St. Joseph's are the schools that Davis lists as players in his recruitment. As far as offers go, Davis remarked, "St. Joe's, George Mason, Virginia, and Pitt [have offered]. I think Nova is gonna do it in person and [as for] Georgetown and UConn, I don't know."

"No, none," said Davis on whether he has any favorites. Nonetheless, he is already thinking about when he will make his college choice. "I'm thinking about either probably before my senior season or after my senior season," he said.

Asked when Villanova told Davis that an offer was coming, he replied, "They actually didn't tell it to me, they talked to my [high school head] coach [Mike Kelly] and it's just the way that Coach Jay Wright and all the other coaches are talking. They want me to come down there for a visit and stuff."

Davis has not been to Villanova before, but plans on going soon. "This summer, I don't know when though, but sometime this summer," he said.
