by Alex Schwartz

With yesterday being the final day of the late signing period for high school basketball players in the class of 2010, it is now time to release our final rankings of the outgoing seniors. This is the fourth installment of of our 2010 rankings, which began in July of 09 with the Terrific 35. In late August of 09, the list was extended to a Terrific 125, which was then updated in January of 2010.

The three players atop the rankings remain the same, but in a different order. For the first time, there is a new number one player, as Harrison Barnes jumps to the top spot. Jared Sullinger stays put at number two, while Brandon Knight drops from number one to three.

Rounding out the top five in the final rankings are Kyrie Irving and Josh Selby. Enes Kanter debuts at number six in the rankings and Reggie Bullock checks in at number seven. Terrence Jones makes a big jump from number 20 up to number eight, but Cory Joseph makes an even larger move, going from 25 up to number nine. Perry Jones rounds out the top 10, while Tobias Harris and Will Barton just miss the final top 10.

Only three new players enter the top 25, as Ryan Harrow moves from 26 to 22, Tony Mitchell goes from 28 to 24, and Ray McCallum rises from 37 up to 25. Falling out of the top 25 are Stacey Poole (18 to 26), Noah Cottrill (21 to 27), and Adreian Payne (23 to 30).

There are seven players who enter the final rankigns, four of whom are in the top 100. Those in front of the century mark are Enes Kanter, Gorgui Dieng, Shabazz Napier, and Moses Abraham. With seven players entering, that means seven fall out, including previous #108 Ohio State-bound Lenzelle Smith of Zion-Benton Township (IL), previous #121 Virginia Tech-signee Tyrone Garland of John Bartram (PA), previous #123 Oregon State-commit Devon Collier of St. Anthony's (NJ), and previous #124 Seton Hall-pledge Fuquan Edwin of Paterson Catholic (NJ).

There are a number of players who made large jumps or major falls in the final rankings. Six players moved up at least a dozen spots, in Terrence Jones (12 spots), Ray McCallum (12 spots), Terrence Ross (15 spots), Cory Joseph (16 spots), Jamail Jones (17 spots), and the highest riser, Allen Crabbe (35 spots). There are eight players that dropped at least a dozen spots: David Nyarsuk (12 spots), Dwayne Polee (15 spots), Daniel Bejarano (17 spots), Mardracus Wade (17 spots), Justin Martin (17 spots), Carson Desrosiers (23 spots), Luke Cothron (26 spots), and James Johnson (28 spots).
