NY Standouts at Jam Fest Day 1

While the 2010 Hoop Group Jam Fest Spring was primarily filled with teams from New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania, there were a few squads from the Empire State that made their way to Neptune, NJ for the event.
Representing New York in the 17U Division were the Juice All-Stars, Brooklyn United, and the Brooklyn Clippers. Long Island Lightning (Dingle) and the Rockland Rockets were the teams from NY in the 16U Division. NYChoops.net got a chance to see the Juice All-Stars, Brooklyn Clippers, and Rockland Rockets on day one of the event.
While the Juice All-Stars had a roster filled with many talented players, half the team arrived at halftime of the morning affair, and the Big Apple squad fell to the NJ Spartans in its first game of the day. The big men for Juice did not have a major impact on the game, though AJ West '11 of Ocean Academy (NJ) did show some flashes.
