Goodman a Star in the Making
Savon Goodman of Academy of the New Church (PA) is one of the best class of 2012 prospects in America. A 6'5 small forward, Goodman has been a big name in the Philadelphia area for quite some type, but he is developing into an elite national recruit, and he showed why on day one of the Hoop Group Jam Fest Spring on Saturday.
Villanova, West Virginia, Penn State, Temple, Texas, Georgetown, Duke, and Pitt are the programs on Goodman's school list. The bouncy wing is not sure who has offered at this point. Asked if he has any favorites, Goodman replied, "No, ACC [and the] Big East."
"I wanna just show my abilities [at a school that will] fit me in," said Goodman of what he is looking for in a school. "[I want to] fit into the offense, get better, work on getting to the next level, and definitely a family. I'm not just going to play basketball, [I want] a family."
