by Alex Schwartz

Nkereuwem Okoro of St. Raymond's (NY) is already known as one of the best player in the class of 2012 in the New York metropolitan area. Okoro, though, hopes to use the summer to increase his reputation on a national level. The 6'4, 215-pound shooting guard is already drawing interest from colleges coast to coast.

"I have offers from St. John's and Hofstra. I'm receiving interest from Pittsburgh, Washington, Arizona, Kentucky, and Villanova. Those are the biggest schools on my list," Okoro said.

Okoro, who has "no timetable" for a decision, remains open in his recruitment and does not have any favorites. "No, not at all. I haven't taken any visits and everything's neutral as of now," said the Big Apple standout.

Asked when he plans to start taking visits, Okoro replied, "I've spoken with my AAU coaches and before the summer I'm trying to take a visit to either Pittsburgh or Villanova."

Okoro said that in addition to having "no dream schools at all" that he does not think location is going to play a major part in his college choice.

"I don't think going far or close to home [is going to be] a factor in my decision. I haven't really thought about that, but as of now it looks like I'm [going to] stay on the East Coast," Okoro said.

What is the talented sophomore looking for a in a college? "I'm looking for winning tradition and a school where I can come in freshman year and get automatic minutes."
