Shipman Considering Transfer to Miami

Coming out of high school in the class of 2008 from Monsignor Pace, Ray Shipman was arguably the best player in the Sunshine State and signed with the Florida Gators.

Now, after two years in Gainesville, Shipman in on the move, with his intentions to transfer from the SEC school announced last week.

“He has gotten interest from UNLV, Miami, Central Florida, Clemson, and Kansas State. He hasn’t sat down with his family yet. He’s gonna go through the whole process,” said Mark Lieberman the head coach at Pace. “All of them have inquired. Some were involved before. He wants to take his visits,”

Lieberman added that Miami, Georgia Tech, and Florida State were Shipman’s other finalists in the first go-around.
