One name that 'Nova Nation may want to get familiar with quickly is Omar Calhoun '12, a 6'4 shooting guard from Christ the King (NY). Despite being a sophomore, a dozen colleges are already showing interest in Calhoun, including Villanova. As the Big Apple star does not really like doing media interviews, his father, Omar Calhoun, Sr., was willing to provide an update on his son's recruitment and game.

Along with Villanova, Mr. Calhoun listed Louisville, Pitt, West Virginia, St. John's, North Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, Arizona, UCLA, UConn, and Syracuse as the schools pursuing the younger Calhoun. Of those, Villanova, Louisville, Pitt, West Virginia, and St. John's have already offered.
