Jefferson and Wooten- Two of Philly's Finest; TJ Sapp Out-Duels Knight

A number of talented players were on display during day one of the 2009 Pete Nelson Classic at Widener University, including a pair of outstanding sophomores. Amile Jefferson, a 6'6 small forward of Friends Central (PA) is a five star prospect ranked in the top ten in the class of 2012 by Rivals. While 6'2 wing Khyree Wooten of Strawberry Mansion (PA) is not as well known, he too can really play.

At last week’s Kreul Classic there were a lot of big names participating, including Miami target and elite Pine Crest senior Brandon Knight. Despite this, it was a local unheralded junior who stole the show.
Daniel "TJ" Sapp, a 6-3, 175-pound combo guard from Oakland Park Northeast dropped 20 points in a match-up with Knight’s team, leading all scorers, including Knight who had 16, in the upset victory and making a name for himself.
