Myck Kabongo Player Diary Entry #4
The star player on Northstar Basketball's #4 team in America and #2 team in New Jersey checked in with his fourth player diary entry yesterday.
Texas-bound Myck Kabongo '11 is off to a fast start to the season, and he in addition to providing some info on that, the point guard presented a nice opportunity for all of the readers of his diary. Have a look:
Hey everybody, the season is here! I've been waiting for this since last spring when we lost to Oak Hill at the ESPN Rise high school event. The bitter feeling that was left on the court after that game hasn't left me one bit, because I'm just a person that hates losing.
We're 2-0 right now& the team is looking great, in the second contest I got my first ever triple-double which was a tremendous feeling, but I was more happy for the win, believe it or not! As a team, all the hard work we did in the off season is showing & were playing as a TEAM, which is hard to do at the high school level. We put all the egos aside & we play together. That's why were going to have the season we want. We head out to Florida next week, which will be our team's first real tests & I know we will be ready for it!
The new thing I'm going to start to do is some Q&A for readers. Just send them to northstar.njabc@gmail.com & I'll answer anything related to basketball or off the court stuff. Anything! I'm off to getting ready for this tournament, but follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/1mk2 to find out how that's going & my day to day life. Until next time God Bless .
