Shabazz Napier Player Diary Entry #2
Shabazz Napier '11 of Lawrence
Academy (MA) is about to begin his junior season at the NEPSAC Class B school, so it was a good time for him to send in his second player diary. Have a look at what the talented point guard has been up to:
So this is diary entry #2. Sorry I have not wrote a diary for a long time. I know you all have been waiting to read this (lol). On serious note, that’s my fault I was a little busy. My Thanksgiving was great, I celebrated most of it with my mother; other times were with my close family. Christmas is coming up and hopefully everyone gets what they want, if not sorry to hear that.
So to fill you in on some information, our football team went undefeated this year, 9-0, first time ever in school history. While doing this we won our league championship and we won a bowl game also, perfect season many would say. It was a very long season and I am glad it's over because now basketball season is up. By the way my sister just had a kid last week. She conceived a baby girl and I am a little a jealous because I was the baby in the house, just kidding.
Talk a little about basketball, well we had three practices on Monday, sort of a killing for me since I was in football condition not basketball, but it is cool now. So far practice has been great, but like always we can improve on anything at anytime. We have out first game this Saturday so we have to start off great, but I know we are ready, this includes Denzel Brito (Senior), Sarkie Ampim (Senior), Marcus Grant (Junior), Dan Giovacchini(Junior) and a new edition Clay Horne (Junior) and others.
What else is there to write about? Well when I come up with something else, I got you all. I’m about to swim out of it. Peace.
