Early Signing Period Wrap-Up
by Alex Schwartz
In this post I will be going over a few quick early signing period tidbits that I did not mention in my either my Early Signing Period Day One Updates, Early Signing Period Day Two Updates, or Commitment Catch-up posts. Have a look:
- In addition to Ike Azotam out of Marianapolis Prep (CT), Quinnipiac has signed Dominique Langston of St. Thomas More (CT).
- Lafayette has officially added Jake Kreuser of Sibley (MN) to its now two-man class along with Leslie Smith.
- Kyrie Irving of St. Patrick's (NJ) officially became a Duke Blue Devil when he signed his National Letter of Intent.
- Jayvaughn Pinkston from Bishop Loughlin (NY) will now be waiting until the spring to sign, as he was not ready to make his commitment today, according to multiple reports. Marquette, Seton Hall, St. John's, Tennessee, and Villanova are his finalists.
- Reports indicate that Cory Joseph of Findlay Prep (NV) will sign in the spring and has trimmed his list to Minnesota, Texas, UConn, UNLV, and Villanova.
- According to numerous reports, Ron Roberts of St. Peter's Prep (NJ) has committed to and inked with St. John's.
- Reports indicate that Bucknell has gained a commitment and signature from Cameron Ayers of Germantown Academy (PA).
- James Jackson of Huntington Prep (WV) has penned his name on an LOI to attend UT-Martin.
- Howard has officially added De'Mon Brooks from Hopewell (NC).
- Once Tobias Harris takes his name off the board today, the 14 uncommitted players left in Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125 will be: #1 Brandon Knight, #7 Josh Selby, #14 Doron Lamb, #21 Justin Coleman, #24 CJ Leslie, #28 Ray McCallum, #29 Terrence Jones, #31 Cory Joseph, #35 Roscoe Smith, #49 Trey Zeigler, #69 Jordin Mayes, #78 Jayvaughn Pinkston, #100 Jonathan Graham, and #101 Julian Washburn.
- The only player ranked as a top 12 senior in New Jersey by Northstar Basketball in the list of New Jersey's Fab 45 Upperclassmen who has yet to commit and sign in Julian Washburn of St. Patrick's (NJ).
