Reggie Cameron Player Diary Entry #3
Reggie Cameron is now into his third month as a freshman at Paterson Catholic (NJ). The talented small forward is continuing to garner basketball accolades, as he talks about in the third installment of his player diary. Check it out:
Wussup, it's me Reggie Cameron II bringing you up to date with my status. Lately it's been strictly working out, in the lab (gym) and in the classroom.
I'm really getting used to being in the weight room and
understanding what I need to improve on physically.
Halloween weekend, my boys Kyle Anderson and Kavon Stewart and I went to the Pangos Fab Frosh-Super Soph Camp. I played really well and joined Kyle and Kavon in the top 25 game in the camp. (PC4LIFE). During the camp I had a moment where I had to play against sophomore Savon Goodman who's a top 25 player in the 2012 class. I took it as a challenge and felt I held my own. I will say that I understand why he's ranked where he's at, but my school is filled with big time players and I do have to guard Kyle during workouts. That can prepare you for anybody!
I want to give a shout-out to Marquis Webb (AKA the coolest teacher in the school). Marquis was a guard at Rutgers University and was a three year starter and he takes the time to talk to me about my game, the pros and cons. Him making it gives me motivation to make it too. I want him to know i do listen and appreciate it. Oh yeah, #27 for the Yankees! Until next time peace RCII
