Within an hour or so of me posting me posting my News & Notes yesterday, an article that included a listing of the 22 uncommitted seniors ranked in Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125, one of them came off the board. I first saw on JacketsOnline.com, the Rivals affiliate for Georgia Tech, that Jason Morris '10 of Hotchkiss School (CT) had committed to the Yellow Jackets.

Morris, a 6'5 small forward, is the first member of Paul Hewitt's class of 2010 recruiting class and his commitment to Georgia Tech was correctly predicted by Northstar Basketball. A big-time athlete who is still honing his all-around game, Morris is ranked #98 in Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125, tops amongst players at high school in Connecticut.

Morris, and the rest of the class of 2010, will be able to sign a National Letter of Intent today, as the early signing period starts early this morning.
