Myck Kabongo Player Diary Entry #3

Myck Kabongo '11 reeled in a couple big honors recently. The Texas-bound point guard was named MVP of the junior game at the Eddie Griffin Challenge, leading the New Jersey squad to victory. Soon after, he was named Second Team All-is8 Fall Tip-Off Classic. Kabongo checked in this evening with the third installment of his player diary.

What's happenin everybody? Hope all is going well with everybody. I've been substantially busy as of late. Our season is right around the corner and workouts have been intense and it's going to turn up a notch when we officially start on November 15th.

College basketball is also just about here and I got my Horns winning it all, no question! I know that they're going to have to overcome a lot of obstacles, but I think they'll do fine because the coaching stuff does a great job (the best in the country) and their fans will support them through thick and thin. Most importantly, the talent is there and Coach Barnes has a track record of meshing teams of that caliber.

A lot of my friends have been following this blog I've been doing so they've all asked me to give them a shout out . . . So im going to dedicate the rest of this blog to them. First & foremost my family; my sister Vanessa & her whole Delaware Blue Hens womens' basketball team that's on the rise. D-Bonez (The best rapper from Toronto other than Drake!) Brady, Dwight Powell aka Young Brook Lopez (on his commitment to Stanford), Rakeem, Rena, Amira, Chris Simpson, Kayla, Celo, Shanice, Billie, Billups, Blake St & the whole of Toronto. If I missed you, sorry. Till next time, I'll holla.
