Reggie Cameron Player Diary Entry #2
Reggie Cameron, a 6'5 combo forward from Paterson Catholic (NJ), who was recently rated as a top 100 player in the class of 2013 by Hoop Scoop sent in his second player diary
entry yesterday. It appears that the talented freshman is doing well getting used to high school. Have a look at what he had to say:
What's up! This is Reggie Cameron bringing you up to date with how my freshman year is going so far. My Paterson Catholic teammates and I have been working out regularly together which is good for me because I'm getting more comfortable with them and I'm learning how physical playing at this level is. For the first time I'm lifting weights and jogging up hills.
I recently played in the Hoop Group Fall Jam fest at Rutgers University with my Playaz AAU team which also has two of my P.C. teammates (Kavon Stewart and DeAndre Noble) on it. We took home the chip in the 15 and Under bracket. My AAU coach is Jamal Slappy, who has helped try to make me a better player. I've played for him since I was 12 years old. I feel i can talk to him about things that I wouldn't say to other people or coaches. We have won a lot of chips together!
Academically, my school year has been going really well. My teachers have been pretty cool so far. I think my biggest achievement so far was learning how to tie a tie!!! I want to give a shout out to Coach Baxter! I hope you coped that Blueprint III, RC II
