Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125 Player Info Update
by Alex Schwartz
I will now be re-posting Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125- Post-Summer Edition, which was originally released on August 25th. I will NOT be updating the rankings here. The top 125 will stay the same—for now at least. Instead, I will be making corrections to player information. In the past month, many players have made college decisions and some have transferred. Thus, I wanted to re-post the rankings with the most up-to-date information on the ballers, and thus on the collection as a whole. Check out the revised copy, with the same intro and the SAME RANKINGS and player notes, just with edited player info:
In mid-July I released the first edition of Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 35. After seeing many players ball this
summer,
I felt it was time to update the rankings and expand the list. Now
there will be 90 more players ranked, as the Terrific 35 becomes the
Terrific 125. The top three players remain unchanged, but after that
there is a lot of movement. The top 14 players are the same, and
although the order had changed a bit, these ballers are considered by
Northstar Basketball to be the elite prospects, with the top seven
being the best of the best in the crop of rising seniors. Players who
jump into the top 25 (usually considered the "five star" prospects) are
Stacey Poole, Tobias Harris, Adreian Payne, and CJ Leslie, while Jereme
Richmond, Gary Franklin, Ray McCallum, and Crandall Head fall out.
Players who were not amongst the 45 players—there were 10 who were
listed under Others Considered or Just Missed—mentioned in mid-July
that are now in the top 45 are Terrence Jones, David Nyarsuk, Tony
Mitchell, Dwight Powell, Vander Blue, and Jeremy Lamb. Without further
ado, here is Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125-
