Jelan Kendrick '10 of Wheeler (GA) used the spring and summer to boost his stock to the level of an elite recruit. Ranked amongst the top 10 players in the nation by Rivals, Kendrick came in at #11 in Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125, as the second best small forward in America. Kendrick sent me his first player diary late last night, and you can check it out right here. It is short, but sweet. Have a look:

Hey how's everyone doing? Hope all is well. I was asked to do a diary of how's life and etc. has been going and thought it would be a honor to share my thoughts with others.
So far I have switch schools and I am currently at Wheeler High School and believe that it was a great transition even though I miss my friends back at Westlake. Slam Mag has recently given me a title that I believe is earned, but puts a lot more on my plate. "ATL Legend," pretty cool huhh, haha. I'm also doing a senior project that is on yoga. Picture a 6'7 kid doing yoga poses. Funny, tell me about it.
