Nate Lubick Still Committed to Georgetown
by Alex Schwartz
Yesterday I caught up with 6'8 power forward Nate Lubick '10 of St. Mark's (MA), who was ranked #48 in Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125. Lubick had committed to Georgetown last October, but there had been some chatter over the past few months that he was planning to decommit from the Hoyas.
When I asked the big man via text if he had some time for a few quick questions, he replied, "Not if they are about decommitting." I asked him if he could just confirm that he was still committed to John Thompson III and Co. and that he was still planning to go to the Big East school, Lubick replied, "Confirmed!" So, as of now, the quality class of 2010 prospect does remain a part of Georgetown's future, but we'll see what happens down the road. I will be sure to keep you updated.
