Dominic Artis Player Diary Entry #1

Dominic Artis '12 of Salesian (CA) is not the most intimidating player, standing just 5'7, but the point guard helped lead his school to a state title last year. He recently sent me his first player diary entry, and he chose to go the route of an overview of his day. Here it is:

Mr. Avis gave us so much homework today it was ridiculous. We had a workout after school at 3:00. Before I walked in the housed I checked the mail and saw I got a couple letters. After that I went inside and lifted in the garage and got my jump rope in. Later on tonight I’m supposed to be going to Cal’s open gym; I hope Jerome Randle’s there again, beca
use I get better when I play against people that atre faster then me. Once I get home from that I’m going to fill out those questionnaires and print the homework because Mr. Avis gives extra for it. Then I’m going to swing by boy Jamil and Jabari's house and see if they want in to play 2K. Those should be easy wins. I can’t stay over there to late though because I’m supposed to go get on the shooting machine with Desmond at about 5am. Hope it all works out today. Overall it should be a good rest of the day because I got my work in and might be able to still kick it with the boys.
