Will Barton Player Diary Entry #1

Will Barton '10 is one of the top players in the nation, and was recently ranked #8 in Northstar Basketball's Class of 2010 Terrific 125. The Memphis-commit is a 6'6 shooting guard out of Brewster Academy (NH) and he checked in the other day with his first diary entry. Have a look:

Dear Diary,
I just came back home to Baltimore from New York where I wasplaying in the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game which was very fun. We madehistory by being the first Elite 24 game to be held indoors. We weresuppose to play at the famous Rucker Park, but because of rain we movedto the Gauchos Gym. It was very exciting. I played with the Skip to my Lou squad, which was coached by coach Tiny Morton of the Juice All-Stars/Lincoln High School, Rajon Rondo, and Tyreke Evans. We defeated the The Goatsquad 133-120. I played well, scoring 18, especially considering I sat out mostof the first half because of an injury.
Now my summer has come to anend and I think I had a great year. I dominated the high school season,spring/summer circuit, camps, and became a top ten player nationally. What I'm really most proud of is making my college decision to attendthe University of Memphis. I'm so excited and can't wait to get there andplay with my brother. I'm also attending a new high school for my senioryear. I have decided to transfer from Lake Clifton High School in Baltimore to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. I'm also excited aboutthat decision too. I will be talking more about that in my next diary entry. That's all for this one.
