I received word from a source close to the situation today that 6'9 big man Ryan McKeaney '10 of Cherokee (NJ) has committed to Vermont. The talented McKeaney teamed with Willis Nicholson '10 to form a deadly duo for Cherokee this season, who had a great year and made the South, Group IV Sectional finals before being upset by eventual state champion Lenape (NJ). McKeaney had a solid week at Hoop Group Elite Camp Session One, but chose to take his name off the board anyway. Again, Ryan McKeaney has verbally committed to Vermont.
