Rasual Butler All-City Basketball Classic School Lists

At the Rasual Butler All-City Basketball Classic on Thursday I had the opportunity to catch up with several players in participation and get school lists from them. Here's the rundown:

Rakeem Brookins ’10, Roman Catholic (PA): Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Clemson, Stanford, Princeton, Brown, UPenn, James Madison, George Mason, Drexel, William & Mary, Delaware, St. Joseph’s, Temple, La Salle, Virginia, and Virginia Commonwealth
                               
           Offers: UPenn, George Mason, Delaware, and Virginia Commonwealth
                               
           Favorite: “I like UPenn.”
                               
           Dream School: Georgetown

George Harper ’10, Phoenixville (PA): Bowling Green, Robert Morris, Virginia Commonwealth, Fairfield, and Holy Cross
                               
       Offers: Bowling Green, Robert Morris, and Virginia Commonwealth
                               
       Favorites: Bowling Green, Robert Morris, and Virginia Commonwealth; “I like them right there that [have] offered me.”
                               
       Dream School: “Not really, whatever fits.”
                               
       Note- Regarding what school he will be at next year, Harper was unsure, but said it will be “anywhere but Phoenixville.”

Jamir Hanner ’10, Southern (PA): St. Joseph’s, Temple, William & Mary, Georgetown, and George Mason
                                    Offers: “Not yet.”
                                    Favorites: “I like Georgetown and St. Joseph’s.”
                                    Dream School: North Carolina

Keith Coleman ’11, Cheltenham (PA): Temple, Villanova, La Salle, Drexel, Marquette, and Nebraska
                                      Offers: Temple, La Salle, and Nebraska
                                      Favorite: “I like Nebraska a lot.”
                                      Dream School: “I [have] always liked North Carolina.”

Juan’ya Green ’11, Archbishop Carroll (PA): Villanova, Maryland, Temple, Pitt, Syracuse, St. Joseph’s, and La Salle
                                      Offers: Villanova, Maryland, St. Joseph’s, and Temple
                                      Favorites: Villanova, Maryland, Temple, Pitt, and Syracuse are on “top right now,” while “probably Villanova” is his leader
                                      Dream School: “I [have] always wanted to go to North Carolina.”

Devin Coleman ’11, Friends Central (PA): La Salle, Drexel, Delaware, Temple, Villanova, and Florida State

                                       Favorites: “I don’t know. I’m still young, so I’m waiting to see [what happens].”
                                       Dream School: “Probably UConn.”

Ameen Tanksley ’11, Prep Charter (PA): Temple, USC, UConn, Villanova, Maryland, and Kansas
                                         Offers: “Not that I know of.”
                                         Favorites: USC and UConn
                                         Dream School: USC

Isaiah Baker ’11, Episcopal Academy (PA): Temple, St. Joseph’s, La Salle, Drexel, Siena, and Lafayette
                                  Offers: None
                                  Favorites: “Not yet.”
                                  Dream School: “No, not really. [I’d like to go to] any major Division I [school].” 

Amile Jefferson ’12, Friends Central (PA): Villanova, St. Joseph’s, Temple, and La Salle
                                        Offers: None
                                        Favorites: None
                                        Dream School: None
                                        Note- Regarding the strengths of his game, Jefferson said, “I’m really comfortable [with my] back to the basket, . . . but I’m learning how to play the guard position.” Amile, who was awarded the Most Unselfish Player Award, told me the following on what it meant to him to win the trophy: “I’m very honored to get one of these, especially when past legends . . . have one of these.”
