Last night, I received word from a source close to the situation that Matt Griffin will be transferring from Rider to Boston University, where he will play for new Terriers Head Coach Pat Chambers. Griffin, who will have two years of eligibility left at BU, was a significant contributor for the Broncs this past year, averaging 16.5 minutes a game. His playing time was all over the place though, as he played as much as 34 minutes in a game, and as little as three in another. Griffin, a 5'11 guard, averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 assists, and 2 rebounds per contest this year. Once again, in news being first reported by Northstar Basketball, Matt Griffin is transferring from Rider to Boston University, according to a source close to the situation.
