BREAKING NEWS!!! Steve Rennard Commits to UPenn
by Alex Schwartz
Steve Rennard '10 of St. Joseph's Metuchen (NJ) has made his college choice. The 6'2 combo guard has decided that he will play in the Ivy League in two years, and will be taking his game to UPenn. Rennard picked the Quakers over schools such as Vermont (offer), Iona (offer), Brown, Princeton, Robert Morris (offer), Davidson, Cornell, and Bucknell. A lights-out shooter who can also run the point and distribute the ball, Rennard boasts a 4.0 GPA and was recently accepted into the National Honors Society. Rennard is, according to Scout, the first player in the class of 2010 to commit to an Ivy League program. Once again, in news being first reported by Northstar Basketball, Steve Rennard of St. Joseph's Metuchen has made an early pledge to UPenn.
