Gary Lawrence '09 of Chestnut Hill Academy (PA) must have really seen a change in his recruitment over the past two and a half months. On February 8 at the Hoop Group Showcase Challenge Series at Rider University, Lawrence gave me a list of four schools. Howard was not one of them, but today I received word from a source close to the situation that Lawrence has committed to the MEAC school this morning. The Bison are getting an athletic 6'6 wing who can pass the rock and block shots. Once again, in news being first reported by Northstar Basketball, Gary Lawrence of Chestnut Hill Academy has committed to Howard.
