Gary Correia has received his release from UMass and has committed to Boston University, according to a source close to the player. Correia will have two years of eligibility left for new BU Head Coach Pat Chambers, who was a the Associate Head Coach at Villanova this past season for the Wildcats' Final Four run. The future Terrier averaged 2.2 points a game in 11.0 minutes per contest this season, and 1.2 points a game in 11.1 minutes per game his freshman year. A 6'1 guard, Correia logged over 18 minutes of action in a game just once this season and his playing time was sporadic over the course of the season.
