I received word today from a source close to the situation that Matt Glass is transferring from UMass to Vermont. Glass, a 6'7 forward from Vermont, will have two years of eligibility left. Jeff Goodman had reported on his College Hoop Blog: Good 'N Plenty,  that Glass was transferring and was considering both UVM and Brown, and now it seems that Glass has made up his mind. Matt averaged 3.4 points per game and 1.7 boards per contest in 13.1 minutes of action per affair this season. Once again, in news being first reported by Northstar Basketball, Matt Glass is transferring from UMass to Vermont.

In other news, I learned from another source today that Seton Hall will be having some big visitors in the next few days. The source informed me that "Ferrakohn Hall will be visiting tomorrow and Cliff Dixon will be there Saturday night through Monday morning." Hall is a talented forward who, from what I've read, had a great senior season at White Station (TN) alongside big-time junior Joe Jackson. Cliff Dixon is a JuCo big man who had actually previously committed to SHU before re-opening his recruitment. The source also informed me that the Pirates are really trying to get another JuCo big man, Jarrid Famous.
